It’s That Time Nauticats!

We have a new Swim Web Program – Swimtopia – that fulfills all of our hopes and dreams! A Swim-Utopia designed by a former swim parent in Austin that knew it could be done better, so he did.

• Access everything from www.Nauticats.org, which will forward to https://nbnauticats.swimtopia.com/
• Instead of REMIND, we will be utilizing Swimtopia’s Mobile App, available in the Apple App Store as well as Google Play. Please make sure you install this app with PUSH notifications on, so that we can communicate urgent messages via text. Swimtopia’s app will also track meet event statuses too!

FEE INCREASE: For the first time in more than 15 years, we are increasing our registration fees by $10 per swimmer (regardless of age). We are still able to remain one of the lowest cost registration fees in the league, thanks to our fundraising efforts. Please reach out if you (or someone you know) need a partial or full scholarship in order to participate this season.

As always, Registration is a 2-step process: (1) online then (2) in-person

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION: Is so ridiculously straightforward through Swimtopia, we didn’t even make a tutorial. Just go to our website and click “Register now.”

• If you have any difficulty accessing, please click that you “forgot password” and allow the system to reset it for you. Contact [email protected] if you have any difficulties.

In-person Registration is April 11th from 10am-2pm in the cafe area of the HOA Building located at 1322 Space Park Dr. (Suite C)

• Returning Families only from 10-12 PM
• New Families MUST attend New Parent Orientation at 12pm, and will have the opportunity to complete in-person registration immediately thereafter.
• Open Registration (for New and Returning Families) resumes 1-2 PM

2. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE INFO: A printed Calendar will be available at In-Person Registration, but here’s a quick overview of what we have so far:

• April 18 - Pool clean up
• April 27 - First day of afternoon practice
• May 16 - Mini-Meetfor 10 & Unders (Home vs Harbor Tide w/ 10am start)
  • Rainout/Make-up May 18, 6:00-8:00
• May 21 - Last day of School for CCISD
• May 22 - First day of morning practice
• May 23 - 1st Meet HOME vs. El Lago
• May 25 - No Practice - Memorial Day
• May 26 - Welcome Back Dinner
• May 29 - Pancake Breakfast and Pictures
• May 30 - 2nd Meet HOME VS Baytown
• June 6 - 3rd Meet AWAY @ Clear Lake Stars
• June 10 - Wacky Relays
• June 13 - 4th Meet AWAY @ Harbour Tide (Clear Creek High School)
• June 20 - 5th Meet AWAY @ Brooks
• June 22 - Post-season practice begins
• June 22 - Last Chance Meet @ 5pm
• June 26 - (Fri @ 5pm) Champ Series Reserve Meet
• June 27 - (Sat) Champ Meet
• July 2 - (Thurs) Awards Banquet

Text Messages: Since Swimtopia has built-in urgent messaging ability, we will no longer use Remind for urgent text messages like weather cancellations and Meet Updates. Please download Swimtopia’s app onto your phone and allow Push notifications. Swimtopia’s app will also track meet event statuses too!
