Mini Meet is Here!

May 15, 2024

Hey Cats!!

Mini Meet is here! We are so excited to see all the littles practice their skills in their very own Mini-Meet. It will run exactly like a real meet, but only ages 10 and under will participate. Let’s ace this practice run and be ready for the real thing next weekend! Parents, please have the swimtopia app downloaded with notifications enabled. We are using the app for all time sensitive communications.

WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

THIS WEEKEND:

  2. Volunteer Updates
  3. Silent Auction Donations

NEXT WEEK:

1. MINI MEET: SATURDAY MAY 16 @ 10am

The whole team is invited to cheer on our littles and join the pool party after. We will finish the meet with 2 really fun Wacky Relays, you’re going to want to see these ;)

  • The Meet: Setup & Swimmer Check-in 8:45am, Host Warm-ups at 9:00, Visitor Warm-ups 9:20, meet starts at 10am
    • Text Coach Kennedy ‭281-705-7450‬ asap with any unexpected changes to avoid scratches!
    • The meet is expected to last about 2 hours
  • Entries: Parents and swimmers may notice some changes in meet entries. If Coach Kennedy saw that your swimmer was good at an event you did not register for she may add that event. Mini meet is a great place to practice racing in new events with less pressure.

  • Concessions will be available.
